Strathmore Country Garden Club, next meeting Tuesday 7:00pm May 6th, Strathmore Legion Veterans Hall.
The library is pleased to host the Alberta Law Enforcement Response Teams (ALERT) Internet Child Exploitation (ICE) unit on the evening of May 1st to educate parents and caregivers on how to stay safe online. The presentation is free and open to the public. No registration is required. Poster is attached. Please share widely. Note the presentation is not appropriate for young children.

Hussar Play school Summer Dayz Kid Zone Event
Hello, my name is Charlotte Stokes. I am the president of the Hussar Playschool and Manager of the Hussar Summer Daze Kid’s Zone/ Entertainment Stage and Social Media.
The Hussar Playschool invites your organization to set up a community engagement table/ booth at our Hussar Summer Daze Kid’s Zone on Saturday, June 14th, from 1 pm to 4pm.
We aim to connect community and family resources with our town and visitors during our family focused Summer Daze weekend.
Our Kid Zone is located outdoors at the Campground Park and includes activities such as bouncy castles, musical entertainment, face painting, magicians, fire trucks, food and more - all at no cost.
Setting up a table is free; however, your organization must be invited. If you recommend groups, we will happily connect with them!
You will be required to set up your table, chairs, tents, and other resources – none of these will be provided to you. No selling or buying will also be allowed; these tables are strictly used to share your resources with our community.
